Two dresses with a mature look, perfect for the woman who knows what flatters her most. One is simple and sleek with no extras, the other with challenging seam lines for a premium look. High quality fabrics underline the styling.

If you find the lines of a classic blazer too harsh, you will love this chic lined jacket with integral collar and a slight V-neckline. The seams create an interesting effect and you can include pockets if you like. This garment will require some sewing experience, however. The shorter, more feminine version with sleeve flounces is also pleasing.

Misses' Trousers and Pants

Trousers/pants with jeans styling ' nice and narrow along the legs but not too tight ' are classic. They sit at the waist and are so comfortable thanks to modern stretch fabrics. Be bold and go with a trendy print. Just putting them on will put you in a good mood!

These lightweight jackets and coats are feel good fashion! The loose cut cleverly camouflages your waist and elongates your figure. Coat view A is fastened with tie bands and features side slits and ribbon details at the shoulders and sleeves. The sleeves of blouse jacket view B are adorned with flounces. Here we used a summery print but a firmer and more textured fabric would be just as fabulous.

You can never have enough of those comfy sweatshirts, especially when they are detailed with such pretty striped hem and sleeve bands. The sleeves are fashionably gathered. The same style dress with a kangaroo pocket may just become your favorite piece. For jersey knits

How about a cool new pair of pleated pants/trousers with a tapered leg? Either long or slightly cropped, they would team up beautifully with ankle boots. Views A and C have in-seam pockets. View B features galon stripes with just a ribbon stitched down the sides and the pockets are omitted.

Three great pant/trouser styles from just one pattern: the drawstring waist which replaces the waistband is an eye-catching detail. But be careful ' if you make yourself one, you will want them all! They are really quick and easy to sew.
